    New 1981 XS400 Build

I haven't been able to use something to test the compression, however I did a little bit, put new spark plugs and adjusted the cluch and idle. I got it up and running and drivable. Biggest issue was I got a new battery and it died in less than a week. I'm wondering if there is an issue with the...

    New 1981 XS400 Build

I read up on it at lunch and I saw the moisture can get stuck inbetween the wrap and pipe causing it to rust faster. They recommend to run it every once in a while if you're not a frequent rider to prevent the build up.

I really like the look, someone I know is discouraging it. I still may, looks nice on older motorcycle and bobbers.

    Wiring Harness

I've been on the look out for a wiring harness for my xs400 and I've had no luck. The only place that I could find wanted nearly 300 dollars for it. Someone said do it myself however I'm not very inclined in electric work. Any suggestions?
