Wiring Harness

I've been on the look out for a wiring harness for my xs400 and I've had no luck. The only place that I could find wanted nearly 300 dollars for it. Someone said do it myself however I'm not very inclined in electric work. Any suggestions?

I have one in perfect shape. What year is your bike.

Came from this bike.

Year is 1981. Picked it up for free from a guy in Vermont. Trying to get it going again.
