No I haven't checked the fuel level, so you mean that even if the float bowls contain gas the level might not be high enough for the jet to suck it in ? Strange that this would happen in two weeks when the bike was just still.

Ah I see, gonna make one more turn tomorrow and see how it behaves. Is synching carbs the same as balancing? I examined the butterfly valve and they seemed to be in sync. Valves not adjusted. Is that a "DIY" job, or better take it to a pro?

Thanks! Still got the issue with the choke though, bike starts without without choke, I pull out the choke and the engine dies. The choke is limiting the air right? So perhaps my idle screws are to far out and giving it to much fuel while choke increases it even more? Ja svenskarna är...

Progress! I got it to run again, strange thing is, it starts better without choke than with, could that be because my idle mixture screws are to closed? No more smoke and both exhaust pipes are equally hot. Took it for a spin actually, wonderful feeling after countless hours of fiddling...

Just picked up the bike from a shop and they stated that something was wrong with the ignition and also the ground cable from the battery was a bit glitchy. Seems to run beautifully now. Thanks for all the tips though!
