13.5 in it requires you to cut off a bit of the shock mount to fit them. I love them though especially for the price.

Sounds like carb boots or butterfly valve seals. I had the same issue. It's usually caused by a leak in the intake. It's super common lots of info on it.

As far as I know they are stock. It's an 81 xs400 hs. eBay would be my first place to check.

Speedo and Tach are from mikes xs. There is a similar one on Amazon but the back light is different. Made that mistake. The ones on mikes are like a glow instead of just a light behind. They look killer and I think the ratio is right yet I haven't had a chance to test it. I am thinking...

Yes i pretty much copied the other rear section in the other thread. Its very well documented on that thread if youyou want moreto info. The seat pad is 4 layers of carpet pad glued togather on a piece of sheet the metal and shaped. Then i riveted and streached vinyl over it.
