Is the Shell Rotella T5 ok? The manual recommends 10-W40 and that's what the T5 is.

After ripping apart my motor to get to the stator I came across this video. I did everything he did and it seems to be my regulator/rectifier that has gone bad since nothing that happened with mine that happened with his.

I found the site glass and I can't tell if anything is in there. I think the oil is so low it's below the glass.

I guess that's my question. I have only had the bike for 10 days.

If it has anything to do with this hole there is no dipstick or glass in the hole.

I popped off what i believe to be the oil fill cap and looked inside and it seemed empty. Is it suppose to look like this or what?
