So iv been trying to start my bike and after a few unsuccessful tries I noticed a pool of fuel in the carb/air intake. Just wondering if this would be caused by the carb not being put together correctly or?
Clean clean clean those carbs, brother. Once you know they are clean, clean em again. Then once you know they are clean...clean them once more. Build a manometer while you are at it so you may sync your carbs once you reinstall them.
Thx Jeff. I used the original floats which still had bouyancy, and the float needles and needle seats and screens were new from what appears to be high quality carb rebuild kits direct from Japan. Clew
Okay, apologies all around for the newbie mistake, I thought Jeff was replying to my post regarding jetting guidance. I'll be more careful in the future!
