diving idle/stall

hey all howzit?
Lately I have been having similar problems as bcware with the diving idle. Went through the bike and did the basic tune up. carbs,valves,points,(dress and gap),timing and carbs final tune,idle.
Bike was running fine but the intermitten idle dive /stall was still there.
Then the 'signal' fuse 10A blew and.... the other than no lights,... the bike ran fine no stalls what so ever.Idle rose a little bit?
This is the second time this fuse blew.
What does this mean or potentially indicate?
...and is this related to the arcing/miss/diving idle stall?
Let me know.

Where is everyone getting these ancient fuses/fuse holders?

I too would like to learn more about this. Sounds almost exactly like what happened to mine. Ran fine while my turn signals weren't working, but soon as I fixed them the diving idle started again. At first i thought they weren't related but this seems like too much to be a coincidence...

Well you must have a short somewhere if the fuse is blowing. I'm not sure why the lighting circuit would be tied into the ignition circuit, but maybe a previous owner messed with something. Do you have a good battery and is the charging system working?
