That little metal prong that you push with your foot - snapped clean off . I'm gonna see if the local welding shop can reattach it. Unless anyone knows of a cheaper solution. Don't know what a weld will run yet...

If you make sure everything is all clean, $5 or $10 cash at a local muffler shop should do it. Maybe a neighbour has a MIG? That should only cost a beer...

Thanks . I sort of know the owner of the local welding shop. I think $20 and an invite to my next St Patricks Day party should take care of it.

No. Unfortunately i don't ave a kick start...

I've never dropped my bike. ( but I've only had it for a week ) And i think I've just jinxed myself! When I drop my bike, I am blaming YOU!

We had something similar happen with my wifes bike. She put the kickstand down at the store and when she went to rest the bike on it the bike kept going. The welds on the bracket/frame and broken off. Easy fix. Check that out too, ive seen it a few times on these older bikes.

Its a new bike initating thing it happens to almost everyone who has just bought their first bike.
