If you have the components on hand to create some back pressure I might try that first, but jetting it up a size should do it if its lean at WOT, may also need to lower the needle a notch too after upping the main jet.
I added a small 6 in pipe with small tip exhaust. Seem like it's running better. Rpm at 7/8 and max speed is at 60/70. I'm going to get it welded on and see if I need to rejet. Will keep this thread posted. Any help and knowledge welcome.
