Hi All.
I'm Jason. I just found a 1982 XS400 heritage special "Time Capsule".
13k miles, everything is there, it started on ether and all for the lowly sum of 100 dollars American, Woo Hoo!
I'm glad you guys are here.
My first questions are; do 650 intake boots fit these?
What jets do you guys run with Pod filters on the stock intake manifold?

Theres a guy on ebay who sells jet kits for the xs400, you just tell him the modifications you have done to it and the elevation where you do the most of your driving and he puts together a kit for your bike. I got my kit from him at about $40 and it worked great. I was a bit hesitant at first but it worked great for my bike and he gives you a couple sizes of jets just in case you need to go up one or two. Just search xs400 jet kit on ebay and you should find him I think his ebay name is 6sigma or something like that.

650 carb boots don't fit, but XS400 carb boots are widely available. I got mine from eBay for $36.
