1984 CB700SC Nighthawk. The XS400K and basket case XS400J are a firm $800 or $500 for the runner.

The TX500A isn't even past anything but carb cleaning and not sure yet...

True, even the Yamaha XJ550 screams compared to the XS400. I'd say my old 550 maxim was also faster than any XS650 I've ridden. There's a reason most modern sport bikes are inline-fours.

My XS750 is a damn bullet compared to the 400. 400 at 70 mph you go WOT and accelerate slowly but surely. Today I was at 60 and opened it up, probably 6 seconds later i'm blowing past 90...

Lovin' it, except the cam chain noise, but I guess Hondas are just notorious for it and it is never serious enough to break or jump chains, it's just between 2-3K anyway, and doesn't sound like anything but some rubbing of the chain on some less quiet parts, not a slapping.

Looks the bike fits your build alot better than an xs400.Would you be willing to part anything from other basket case?If so let me know by pm what you got.
