Good Evening,
I am working on converting a 79 Xs 400 to more of a dual sport. I plan to use it more off road than on. It has paperwork issues and other than a quick jog to the gas station or the store it's going to be for offroad parks and my rual property.
I want to change the gearing for more immediate power. Any recommendations on the smallest front sprocket and largest rear sprocket I can get by with.
I still want some highway speed but 65-70max is plenty.
