so before my bike (77 XS360) was running pretty good except for a mean bog in mid range rpm's. so I pulled my carbs to do a more thorough cleaning. popped them back on and I can't for the life of me get the bike to stay running. the only thing I adjusted was idle. it will run for 3 or 4 seconds at a time. so I pulled the point's cover to check gap and I can't get the correct gap. it won't open more than the thickness of a sheet of paper no matter how much I twist the points plate, these are brand new points. could the cam that makes the gapping be worn down? or should I just try PAMCO electric ignition
