Should I put some gussets in this

Go to a good welding and industrial supply shop and ask them if they have a jig for cutting tubing. The one I had was thick paper and you just find the diameter and angle that you want,then mark the pipe,cut and grind it,and you have a pipe gusset which will intersect perfectly with the frame. When welded,this type gusset is much stronger than a plate,as it won't bend as easily,and it is welded all the way around to give it rigidity and flexibility at the same time. lha
