I’ve got gas, carbs have been cleaned, got spark, new battery. Kicked the heck out of it. Wants to start but won’t quite catch. Does fire a little, starting fluid doesn’t help. Ideas? Could it be weak spark coil issue? It had been starting, then sat for a while until I got fuel petcock leak fixed. Has been hard to start tho. Thanks for any help! (78 xs400)

Fresh gas, new plugs, compression? Lots of things can cause issues. I would start with basics and eliminate causes.
