I've been replying to several "For Sale" threads with no luck. Figured I'd ask here.

If you have these parts, please PM or email me with a price shipped to 29730.

*Alternator cover. Can be ugly. I'm trimming it up for a timing project.

* Kick start lever for a '77 XS400

*Rear caliper, hose and master cylinder/reservoir.

*Possibly interested in a stock tach cable, drive and tach

Alternator cover found. Thanks, XSChris!

Still need the other parts.

And...actually, I have a kick lever but it's missing the washer and C clip. It's just sitting on the post. If anyone has the washer and clip or knows of a way to secure it, let me know.

You should be able to get the washer and clip at any hardware store.

You can order pretty much all hardware for our bikes at partzilla.com

I use them all the time. They have full parts diagrams and only charge $6 shipping on any order under $60. They are located in Florida so for me I usually get what I order 2 days after it ships. I'm in NJ. I def recommend this site

Still looking for the rear brake stuff...possibly. Haven't dug too deeply into mine yet.

I could also use the rubber grommets and little metal sleeves that fit into the triple tree to mount the gauges. I'm building a tach mount and need those snubbers.

I have the rubber grommets but the gauge brackets that I have don't use a metal sleeve. The bracket has a shouldered bolt already. If you want the rubber bits $7 shipped for them.

Chris, I was planning on using an XS650 bracket and cutting/modding it to fit. The 650 uses the grommets and a sleeve.

Can you measure the diameter of the shouldered bolt? The XS650 bolt may not fit through the grommets and I may have to get a 400 bracket to modify. Am I making sense?

The bolt is 30mm x8mm but it is pressed in the bracket. I do have bolts that would work if you drill the holes in the xs650 bracket larger. I put up some pick of a xs400 one next to the xs650 one. I also have a modded xs400 bracket just for a tach if you want to go that route:) Let me know what you want and we will go from there.

The bolts with t he grommets: I could probably use those with my XS650 bracket, right?
My plan is to actually cut the bracket in half and modify it to center mount the tach.

You will have to drill the xs650 mount holes larger to take the bolts. $12 Shipped for the bolts and rubber bits.
