Hi my stator had/has some wearing near the stator, where the wire comes out of the AC cover, to near the drive sprocket area. I found a pic on ebay, and created a jpg out of it. Is this normal? could this cause lack of charging of the cycle? I am able to get a volt 1. at 3500 rpms. all three combos of white wires Ohms read between .8 to 1.0 volts, and the Ohms was reading .7 to .8 and .9 for same wires.

I was surprised that there was Oil in this side of the engine. I found out it is normal. I started to think that might cause a grounding out of power, but I guess not.

I have been trying to follow curlys guide. I am guessing that I am in need of a new stator? or is there a way to replace the wire out??? I will let the forces speak thanks!!!
Tobie
