Have you thought about some longer rear shocks to lift that back end a bit? I added a few cms to mine and think it looks a lot better. Levels out the tank/seat line instead drooping towards the tail.
@bigdog Thanks, I will probably do just that once I have it running a bit more reliably and iron out the electronics. What kind of shocks did you put on yours? Do you have any pictures of it?
I tried putting longer shocks on mine, 14.5" 365mm. It raised the stance but the side stand was no longer usable and the center stand was sketchy at best. It also made the "feel" a bit top heavy to me. I have pretty short legs (30" inseam) and I preferred the feel of the shorter ones. Good luck either way!
@Petew Hmm, I might have to do some serious thinking and a lot more riding before I make the leap to a longer rear suspension. Right now I feel like I am going to slide off the back under full acceleration, but it has also been a few years since I have ridden regularly, so it might just be I'm not used to this bike yet. Thanks for the feedback.
