Proof that I messed it up. the clutch rod in backwards. The Rod is suppose to have the shoulders, or the cut end out this way. end result is that i
Clutch Tee not seating when the clutch is released. due to clutch rod put in backwards.

Clutch push out, and the grove for the cir clip. No Shim shown.
The Cir clip fits in the grove perfectly. without shim.
