I have a problem i replaced my locked up front brake cable and while i was waiting for the new one i put the little piece that hooks it to the front break lever on the tire. I put it in a very safe spot i am sure :banghead:
Can someone take a picture of this piece and does anybody...

My buddy and I have acquired and 1985 Yamaha XT 600 I have no clue if it a 600n 600e 600z or any other letter for that matter. Does anybody have experience with an xt? or know of a good forum dedicated to xt's i would like to find out if it is an N E or X.

I took my carbs out and cleaned them 4 times finely HoughMade suggested to pull them completely apart and boil them in 25% vinegar 75% water solution turning the carbs every 20 min or so. Then blow compressed air through every hole and then hit with a bit of carb cleaner in every hole until it...
Well I boiled my carbs in the vinegar and water mixture and then took an air compressor to it. Hooked everything up and the left side now gets HOT and it idles very nicely. I would like to thank everyone:thumbsup:!
