1985 XT 600

My buddy and I have acquired and 1985 Yamaha XT 600 I have no clue if it a 600n 600e 600z or any other letter for that matter. Does anybody have experience with an xt? or know of a good forum dedicated to xt's i would like to find out if it is an N E or X.

Does any one have a pdf shop manual or wiring diagram. I found one diagram that says it is for the 85 but it only has 8 wires going to the CDI but this one has 11.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
