Replace electric starter button and tore apart the left handle instrument to try to get the horn button in. Alas missing the assembley inside the controls.

Got the starter and horn buttons yesterday. Installed them, but the horn housing is missing. Horn works, but button housing missing. Going to either fabricate one or look for one on Ebay. By the way learned about the CMS website and parts fische. Good resource...

Thanks jayel. Got the button, pin and spring in the housing. The bike starts like a charm! Can't believe it was that easy.:thumbsup:

How was the spring oriented? Narrow end toward button? And the pin plunger, is the longer end in the button or short end in the button? I'm replacing the buttons for my electrical starter and horn.

Thanks Drewpy. Do you know how to key a replacement key? I want an extra copy, but the local store says they can't cut one to match. Anyone know how to get replacement keys?

Just ordered two buttons from yambits on Ebay. The cost was cheaper for two from the UK than one from my own state in the U.S. What sense is that? Are these bikes more prevalent in the UK?

Why not regular 4 stroke motorcycle oil like Valvoline 10W-40?
