I read somewhere that it is good practice to keep the sprockets with a prime number of teeth. Something to do with stopping the chain from hitting the same part of the sprocket repetitively, supposed to extend the life of the system quite a bit.

Bit the bullet and ordered some of these for $165.00 AUD delivered. I've read mixed reviews on them but stuff it. I should have them in a week or two. Rear swingarm is out to fit new bushes and start fabricating the brace.

Has anyone braced the 400 frame for more rigidity? I'm interest in supporting the swingarm pivot (D in the pic) and the steering head to swingarm (A). I know its a katana frame but something similar should work on the 400.

http://www.pbr.com.au/products/replacement/ancillary.shtml The above link show rubber grease. Strip your caliper, clean the piston and bore. Smear rubber grease on piston, bore and all rubber seals and re-assemble. This is the only stuff I use, cars bikes, anything that uses brake fluid.
