I don't really see how this is a big issue. What about all the guys that raise there forks in the triple clamps. It lowers the front of the bike. The bike then tilts forward. Using stock center stand would give false reading? Every motor cross bike has a sight glass, they do not have center...
Going to build a set of jacks similar to this. It will have extension long enough so exhaust will clear the jack. I need a set for use with the work table and will work great for checking and changing oil.
Update. Exhaust is done minus final welding. Came out awesome. I can even get the oil filter out which is a plus! On to getting the rear shocks mounted up. also built a work platform need to figure out a way to keep the bike up there though.
I'm okay with pulling the exhaust off. Shouldn't be to bad. The exhaust is pretty short. I'll be wrenchin on it tomorrow going to see about getting the filter off.
