Morning fellow riders.Just a quick question,I have managed to get hold of a set of xs400
side cover badges but the one is silver and the other gold!I am going to have them
rechromed but I dont know which is the right colour?The bike is a 1978 2lo jobbie
could anyone help me out?
thanks for the reply,tried most of the sites locally might as well ebay as well,I did find a right emblem in the UK but the guy wanted 45 pound sterling for it so crazy.
Maybe have the old ones enameled be cheaper

Hope someone can help me,been busy with a 1978 xs400
got most of it together now (with lotsa help from Mike"The Tank"
but now I need the emblems for both side covers and the fuel tank
looked allover the place here in South...
I thought as much havent seen any bike without a kickstart.Looks like I have a lot of work to do,already searching locally,so far no luck may have to import from the USA or with luck Japan

The engine and frame have the same no. 2L0-072351 can the bike be identified from that?I want to restore it to...
