On my ride today I lost my left side cover on my bike and I'm looking for another one.

I took the bolts out of the bowls and let them drain and now the bike runs great.

This may sound like a stupid question but when the bike is running am I suppose to see any oil in the little oil level window? Edit: never mind did some reading and answered my own question lol

Thanks for the quick reply. I am planning on replacing it in time but I figured since it wasnt dripping oil everywhere and just slowly seeping that it wasn't a major problem. I have an uncle who's had a few xs400's and he said they are well known to seep oil and as long as the oil level is fine...

Cleaned the air filters and replaced the front fender :)

It does only happen while braking and it doesn't happen all the time while braking.

I noticed on my last ride that my front is sweeking. Now I did notice the longer I rode the less noise it made and it has been cold the last few days. Anyone have this problem before when it's cold.
