ok so i found out the dimensions of the needle bearings fitted to xj400 seca and maxim swingarms
The inner diameter 22mm
The outer diameter 28mm
The width of the outer race 20mm
and i can find places that stock a oil filled bronze bush as well as many other types of bush.
can i use them in my...
changing all other bearings too except the steering head bearings. so front and rear wheel and sprocket carrier bearing. mines pretty done for. looks like the original unsealed bearing
whats the chances i will need the bush. only one side of the swing arm is wobbling. the chain drive side. the other side is pretty tight. wear on the bearings themselves?
So if I yank on the chain I see movement in my swingarm. I cannot find.replacement bearings/bushings for my bike. What does the maxim use? Bearings or bushings.and.where can you get them?
Ok a bit of a weird one as far as I know my.bike is a 82 maxim. Has the correct style wheels etc. But im led to beleive the maxim is a 5speed gearbox. My bike has a 6 speed gearbox? Could my engine be out of a later seca? Also what is the standard jet sizes across the range in a dohc engine...
