    Are you sure its coming from inside the engine? Does it still make the noise with key off? battery disconnected? if you put your hand on the starter cover, can you feel it vibrating? When you say starter button is missing, is is broken? Could it be grounding out on the bars still?

    Sounds like your starter solenoid might be sticking? kinda hard to tell without more info. Your start button grounds through the bars, so if that circuit is grounded then it would be the same as holding your start button.

    Wanted - WTB Header pipes in good condition and/or exhaust collars/shims

    As the title says, looking for header pipes with minimal rust that can be cleaned up well enough. Can be cut shorter as I'll most likely be modifying them anyway! Also looking for the shims that go between the collar and head to seal the pipes. Thanks!
