So I rode with an oversized fuel line and never had it run out once..... So thinking another petcock and fuel line will be plenty....
I was having so much fun grabbing gears that I noticed the clutch slips a little between gears.... Anyone know of an aftermarket clutch or a way to stiffen the...
Ya that's why the fuel regulator should be in place.....just wanting to find the most simple and budget friendly way to do it. Will post some go pro video soon, if I can figure out how to anyway.
So I tried a couple different inline fuel pumps. A 5-9 psi pump will push through the carb. A 2.5-4 psi does not pressure through, however it starves even quicker than with no pump at all. I wouldn't mind tapping another line to double the fuel volume....I think it would be enough because I ran...
Sounds like a blown motor.....remove spart plugs and place your thumb over the hole on one side.....crank it over while holding you thumb.....it should have enough compression that it is somewhat difficult to hold your thumb tight over the hole.......check both sides.....one will probably have...
I discussed doing that with a neighbor this morning actually, but figured an inline pump would be easier than tapping holes and adding a petcock. Although we didn't even think about a petcock with more flow....probably try this if inline pump pushes fuel through carb.
So I finally took it for a real drive today.....the beast is totally alive and well in this bike!!! Makes nice boost but to scared to look at gauge to see actual psi (gravel road lol). But ultimately it will begin to sputter and slowly run out of fuel....which is crazy because the stock gravity...
Ok fair enough just thought you guys would know off the top of your head......just need a starting point cause I'm pretty sure the last guy that was in my carbs did not know what he was doing. Would be nice to have it close before I hit the road for tuning. Thanks
Does anyone know how many turns the fuel mixture screws are suppose to be turned out? I'm refering to the two screws on the front of the carb not the idle adj. screw. Thanks
