- I started with a Rupp mini-bike, then a 74 Kawasaki H-1 500, way to fast, My first '75 XS650. An 81 Suzuki TS 125, A Yamaha DT400, Monster bike. Now I have A '75 XS650b, An '03 Harley-Davidson Super Glide Sport, and a non running '82 Yamaha 650 Seca turbo.
I started riding as a kid, a buddies Yamaha dt100. Got my first XS650 in '77, a '75 XS650B. A friend in the Air Force blew it up, was shipping out. I bought it For $400. Rebuilt the engine, rode it for a few years, sold it. Found a '75 XS650B for sale about 5 years ago. rode it one year, got to using a lot of oil. Needed to be rebuilt, didn;t have a computer at the time, So bought a new Harley. Got into computers and found that the xs650 was very popular. So I started to rebuild the old beast,af
