So i am working on a 1982 XS400 Heritage Special, I want to know if an XS650 swingarm is longer, allow a bigger tire, and if it will bolt up to the 400 frame. The rear wheel i am looking at using is a 17in with a 130 90 17 tire, Vs the 120 90 16 and stock 16in wheel that is on it now.

Its too bad that your wife didnt like the bike, I think its sexy.. If you weren't so far away i would pick this ole girl up..

It was bought for my 82, I don't know if its much different for earlier years. However it has been sold.

I don't think I'll have the ole girl street worthy by then, but maybe next year.
