I would start with an oil change. If its slipping It could just be old oil. If It doesn't change after you replaced the oil. For the cable adjustment on the left side on the engine, you need to loosen the nut before you try to unscrew with the screwdriver.

You need to drop the engine, the coils are located above the engine in the chassis. they are mounted on the chassis on the inside. The bolts to loosen them are on the outside of the chassis underneath the fuel tank. Greetings, Fred
