So i have à little problem.
The Bike just runs on 1 cilinder...
It's a xs400 12e 1982
I have no spark on the left cilinder.
I am planning on testing the coil bit first i looked at the ingniter unit.
So It seems that there was water in the box in some point of its life because It was already dry and you can see the corrotion.
I dont know if the unit is ready for the garbage or if i could clean and replug It...

Anybody know if this thing could still work?
And with what Kind of product can i try to clean the unit?

I have already replaced the coil for the right cylinder i started to rebuild the Bike when i bought It from the PO because this one was à little bit melted.

There are electronic specific cleaners available, but they can be expensive and regulated in some countries. Distilled water and a soft brush (like a tooth brush) can be used to clean circuit boards. Follow with a rinse using alcohol like Methyl Hydrate or Isopropyl Alcohol to remove any residual water. Let dry in a warm spot for a few hours then use a soldering iron to reflow the solder joints. It may work.

If you can find a replacement, I'd suggest you get it. The last one I bought cost $100CDN a couple years ago. They are getting more difficult to find, and the prices are going up as a result.
