Bike Sputtered, now doesnt want to stay on.
So I have an 81' xs400. I recently found that it started to sputter in all gears as well as a lot of backfiring. I have read some threads about it and all I really could find are carb issues. So I gutted the carb, cleaned the shit out of it and stuck it back in. It started and ran but still...- 81XS400 Noob

Possible Clutch/Transmission issue
So this is my first bike. So I have no mechanical experience. I have an 81 xs400. It all started going down the freeway and I noticed I couldn't get up to speed like normal. So I took the next exit and I could down shift and shift back up fine. Then all of a sudden started making a weird...- 81XS400 Noob
