Hi... I am not sure how long it will take me to rebuild my bike, but while it is just sitting there, should I drain the floats? I know it has to still have gas in it and the last time it was started was maybe two weeks ago. Thanks.

I was checking the spark plugs and part of the cable stayed attached to the spark plug and won't screw back into the cable. I just figured I would replace the cable. Now that I am breaking down the bike to the frame, I noticed that the ignition coil has the spark plug cable permanently...

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. Just got a 79 xs400 and first project bike ever. Thinking about going the bobber route. Needs some work and not sure where to start. Rides but is not really road ready (ride it anyway) no speedo, tach, signals .. etc The pic looks great but up...
