What does the front finder look like?

:confused:I am new to motorcycle carbs. I am wanting to put air pods on my factory carbs. I was currious what my factory jets were and what i should go up to. Also what other modifications will have to be done to my bike for this to work?:confused:

This thing is tiny. It's about the size of the head on a small thumb tack. It came from inside the 90deg elbow that the vacuum line connects to.

I recently rebuilt my petcock on my 1980 XS400g because it was leaking. Now it will not shut off. I noticed there was a little plastic disc with a little pin hole in it, in the vacuum inlet on the petcock that fell out while i was rebuilding it. I put it back in there but i'm not sure if i got...

I replaced the fuel filter lastnight and it seems to be running a little better. But not perfect. I also checked the vacuum line and it was good. So i guess i'm going to tear down the carbs and clean them. I have been wanting to put air pods on my bike so i guess this would also be a good time...

I hate to sound like an idiot, but where is that located at?

I do have an inline filter, i will try and replace that and see if that doesnt help. I tried running the bike with it on PRI and RES, there wasn't any differnce.

I really hope you all can help me out here, this is my first motorcycle i have ever owned and i'm a newbie when comes to working on it. I have rebuilt cars from the frame up, so i'm handy with a wrench just inexprienced. I own a 1980 XS400G. It has 11,000 miles on it. No motor work done to it...

I recently purchased this bike from a guy i work with. I paid $300 for it, he put new tires on it, and it runs great. I've started to do a few little things to it so far, but nothing major yet. It needs a new paint job and a new seat for sure. But i think i got a pretty good deal.

I am interested in a few of these parts. Do you still have anything left?
