Onetype, thanks for your info..you were correct. Bike runs good now with the exception of a little backfire nothing major at times. I wonder if some of the seals inside the motor are a little damaged from sitting so long. I only have 8800 miles on the bike now.

Yeah in my owners workshop manual, they're calling them contact breaker points and condensers. My bike has 8400 miles on it so everything is original.
