    I started stripping the front fork to install new seals, oil and springs. Here is what Progressive 011-1109 spring looks like next to the stock spring. I went with the stiffest spring because I am about 245lb. Progressive in the back....

    I can't remember exactly but I got them off eBay. Got the head and cover cleaned so far with my friends sand blaster with walnut shells. Got to finish the rest of the motor so I can move onto paint.

    It has been a little on the cold side for working on the bike but hoping to start fabricating it up soon. In the mean time I tried cleaning one carb with Pinesol and it worked amazing:)

    Got my rear set and the tail. The seat pan is like 1/2" to narrow at the shock mount so I think i am going to cut the rear of the frame up and narrow it just a little and weld in a solid flat loop to support the pan.

    I am in Brampton. What is the difference between a 400e and a 400f ? Also thanks for the heads up on xs650 direct, I am sure I will be ordering a few things from there once I got it torn down.
