Bought a new front brake master cylinder for my '81 xs400 and figured I might as well do a new brake hose while I'm at it, since the stock is too long with the drag bars I put on. Easier said than done. Almost all are stock length or silver, which isn't a total deal breaker if I can't find...

I want to repaint my tank a matte grey and it seems like there are no matte finish protective coat rattle can options that are even remotely gas resistant. I may have access to a spray booth, which seems like the better option anyway, but am also considering just getting a pro job. Any thoughts?

Bought a standard '77 tank for my '81 xs400 and was wondering what mods I would have to do to salvage the vacuum petcock I have and use it instead of doing the gravity petcock that came stock with the older models. Seems like I can only find how to's for the vacuum to manual conversion...

Looking for a gas cap for the boxy style tank I just got. Also anyone know if there's anything tricky about switching the petcock to vacuum? Have an '81 special tank and I'm trying to salvage it. Thanks!
