Doing this engine rebuild. Engine was seized, now we are moving. Little movement in rods, may need new bearings. God bless!

Been busy, next I remove and clean valves and clean up the head. Doing the whole bike into a flat track race bike—lots of work. Whos got forks!?

Few things I’ve been up to with this 77 XS400 for Vintage Flat Track racing.

Head and valves have been worked— all valves clean and head got a port and polish and valves were lapped to their seat.

Rings and gaskets are on their way. Frame is ready! Forks are almost ready. Engine should be humming in 15 days or less, almost done with harness. Do I need to run the brake switch?
