1980 XS400 Special II New re-build

Hi guys its been a while since I have been on. I am doing another rebuild on my bike so I wanted to share. More pics to come as I hop to have it back on the road in a week or so.

here is the bike after i finished my first build up on it....i cant find the photos of after i made a new seat the will be coming shortly.

custom exhaust (full one off kit headers and everything.)
1 1/8 pro taper handle bars
progressive suspension front springs
custom motion pro cables

Yes, a buddy and i hand bent and welded the seat. here are pics with out foam or cover

Exhaust unpainted i really wanted to leave them like this...i was just worried about getting hassled due to them not looking stock and being loud as hell.

Wow, reversed the gauges, tank and everything else....that must have taken some time.

YAY! Just over 2 months and the bike is still in the garage apart. sad sad thing for a bike that i use as a comuter and spent almost 300 days on the road last year.
