1980 XS400 Speedo Cable Vs 1980 XS400 Special Speedo Cable

I am in the process of switching my original spoked drum wheels to the mag wheels with the disc in the front. I have a the new forks and front brake assembly. Only thing I haven't figured out is if I can use the original speedometer cable of do I have to get one from the XS Special?

You need the cable made for mag wheels. The end is different.

I'm in the process of switching to a mag front wheel too. The Motion Pro part number for the speedo cable is 05-0001.
