Located in Killeen, Texas. 1981 Yamaha XS400 Chopper/Bobber/Hardtail. This bike has been completely restored and customized from the ground up. It was a full blown "frame off" restoration. It's been stretched 8.5" and lowered 3". The frame mods were all done with 1.25" steel tubing and plugged with 1" solid steel bar stock. The motor has been rebuilt (ball honed, new rings, pistons, new EBC clutch plates, new +10 clutch springs and all new rubber seals and gaskets.) The carburetors have been rebuilt with all new seals and have been jetted for this area (elevation and nominal temperatures, will also include a wide range of pilot, main and air jets for further jetting options). Valve lash and timing has all been set to factory specs. Tree bearings and fork seals are good, breaks work very well and have close to 90% left on the pads. The bike as a whole only has 4662 miles and the engine rebuild has only 166 miles. The paint was all done with House of Kolor candies and really pops in the sun. The frame color will look almost black at night. I have a clean title and will only allow test drives with cash in hand. Feel free to call, text or email with any questions.
