So I was thinking about going 2-1 with my xs360 because I want a simpler setup that's easier, just the usual. And I know that doing this will cause the left cylinder to run lean. Anyways, what if I make the left exhaust pipe more restrictive causing it to run richer? Would that work?

Wouldn't the simplest thing be to leave it as it is?

I think changing the exhaust to an imbalanced setup is kind of going at it backwards. Introducing other problems.

Could rephase the crank to 360 degree and install an aftermarket ignition. At least the cylinders would be even....
Might even get a better performance boost, once you're rephased to 360, out of a 2-1 exhaust than a 180 degree crank would.

You could call it "The 360 360"

A carb synch is the hardest part about multicarb setups....and it's not hard.... I can't understand why anyone would want to go single carb?

It's like tying your legs together- you can still get around by jumping and crawling, but is it efficient at all?
