got black race carbs and race diaframes(lifts pistons very fast) 6 gears, its all stock except carb diaframes and race plugs.

my question

I set needles at 2,1/4 turns, should i go more?

its a bobber now very light

not placing K&n because i like to go in woods sometimes

its a stock big bore motor

motor is like new only 20tho miles by a elderly guy

Its a 82, side by side

only issues is a 1/4 sec lag at 1/4 throttle

not going to play with pilots

I can drill them a bit if a pro replys

I have lots of tools but no vacuum tester :(
 
plus just a peace of steel to me. wanted to give to GF as gift but she dont want

im only going to ride it this summer

how many mm to be safe? 6 - 10 degrees but in mm? 6-10mm?

With 150 compression i can use 92 right? ( highest i got here)

more compression = dieseling

not only the spark, is a factor, under 90 and most motors will not run

Looking to trade my other racer ( 1/4 mile ready)

300ex or 400ex frame ( not sure)

had no cracks but beefed up all placed cracked and placed a big rear one

domtube swing arm (i made) better than most ebays

no back shock just a race bar( for weight) still got whole system if you like dangerous wheelies

I can only dirt drag because pave busts shafts( easy fix, get race hubs and shorten to get beefer steel) might do if got time.

7 inch longer swing arm( so you place your weight on back wheels)

motor is a just like new xr650L ( new crank)

680 big bore for reliability, can go 720 and 830 if you mechine cases a bit( but need to beef up right side with tig

all motor mounts double mounts

hotcam stage 1, stage 2 hard to find

polished exhausts only, not wise to touch intakes

duel 1 1/2 muffs

1988 nx650 carb boot strait plus 3 inches longer

eveythings new... 4 bearing rear hub

22 in back tires

green monster frame with flat black

cut racing fenders, have spares if you like to shine

only thing i didnt touch is timing

nothing around here beats it

scary in second

xr650r carb ( can change jets very fast)

this motor rocks in after market parts, alot better than a xr650r

you can even get a cheap 600 head and just enlarge dowl pins to dual carb it

in 4-5th you can lift gravel 6 feet

Got a spare head i polished very nice but kid stripped like 5 bolts and got a new one instead
new clutch
...

name it and its probably new, even the steering steam bearing... i have back breakes but need a longer 20$ pipe

frame is a 400ex honda

motor is a trail bike xr650L honda one piston

I dont want a powerful seadoo just something reliable

friggen good deal

or 6000$ cash

they are great sand racers

thought id tell you guys before trying to sell local

still dont have a pic of it

maybe used 2 tanks of gas threw it for tuning
 
but only trading the 400ex 4 wheeler racer

the frame is almost completely home made, front end of theses bikes are weak so i domtubed it

if you want to trail ride it lol you would need to have inspected

dealer over here " Hi Octane Power Sports, Beresford " closed down and said i could pick a frame in pile

i only used the square steering steam mount and bar mount and top motor mount

i know how to build... i dont rest top mount and weld in bottom With motors weight.. i jack motor to even out all mounts

il sell just the frame 10000 and you patent it :)

i dont measure much so the patent would be easy
 
This is not a yamaha xs400 I take it:confused: If you are trying to sell something than it needs to be in the classifieds section.
