Good Evening,

I have spent a few hours researching this and doing the tests required to try and fix my charging whoas but can't seem to get to the bottom of this.

I will try and be as straight forward as possible with my information to try and stay clear about what I have done.

My Charging Wiring Set Up is as follows:

Rectifier
Three white wires from Stator to Rectifier
Red Wire to Starter Solenoid (where battery Positive attaches as well)lack
Black Wire to Frame Ground

Regulator
Green Wire from Stator to Regulator
Brown Wire From Regulator to an after market Fuse Panel
Black Wire to Ground from Regulator

**As I write this.. I think I may have forgot to ground from the Generator to frame..**

So.. Here is the issue.

I charge battery and start bike. Run's "okay" and when I bring it up to 3500 - 5000 RPM the voltage at battery hardly climbs. For example if I am reading 12.10V with bike off it will drop to 12.01V when finally running, then after a high rev I read around 12.12V. Then it drops right back down to the 12V area.

Tested the white wires for resistance and measure 1.00 OHM across them all.

Measured the AC Voltage coming from the generator and only read around 0.34V between all wires.

Had another Cover/Stator to try and it did the same thing.. I doubt the rotor is bad but I did notice some scoring on it.

Any ideas?
