After cleaning up the engine, some painting and tons of elbow grease polishing the aluminum my son and I spent all day Sunday installing more parts. Started with the engine. Tried to mount it from the right side with not much clearance. Switched to the left side and it went right in. After we secured it to the motor mounts went on to the exhaust right side first and the left side (looks awesome), moved on to the carbs, H pipe, kick start, foot brake lever and other misc parts. We used NOS parts including nuts and bolts and when we couldn't find what we needed, soaked the metal parts in Evapo-Rust and polished them. They came out clean with a nice patina showing their age. Next we will move on to the chain, cables, bleed the M/C, NOS gas tank in New Ruby Red, fire it up, sync the carbs then off into the sunset. Finally!! This bike was found laying on its side in a field with branches growing through the frame. It has 3,425 original miles. I have returned the bike to original condition. I've installed a mini faring for keeping the wind down a bit when on the road. It's just mounted to the handlebars so easy to remove. Thanks to xschris for alot of the parts on this bike and the other source was ebay, of course.

Looks good. I can probably safely say way more work that I will put into my bike but who knows I might get the bug to make it looks really nice if I can't ride it.

Great job!!! Other than the engine bolts it all looks stock. Now put some miles on this thing and show it off!
