I have been working away at my 1984 XS400 DOHC but wanted to take my time and not have to rush the work in order to get it properly running for the summer, I happened to find a 1981 XS400 Special in the GTA for $500, couldn't go wrong (that's false, but thankfully it didn't). After checking over the bike it was a good buy, and today was my first successful day of working on it, cleaning up the carbs, cleaning up the exhaust, charging the battery and so on. I got it running with the much help from @SpecialK, and now I just need a battery, some carb boots, and to rebuild the front brake in order to get it certified! I couldn't be happier hearing it run today and knowing soon enough it'll be on the road. I just thought I'd share the new buy and more passion for bikes, hope everyone had a good weekend!
