Actually got to ride the XS for the first time today

It's been too snowy to ride the XS400 since I finished assembling it but today was decent enough to take it for a quick spin. It starts okay but needs some carb work 9low speed circuit seems like it's clogged up because it doesn't idle down properly). All in all it was nice to actually ride it and make sure the clutch, drive line, etc. all works.

The bike runs kind of crappy and the exhaust reveals it (revs high at start up and doesn't idle down fast) so until I can tear the carbs apart or replace them (I have another set if need be) the music "hid' the lousy running engine. I promise to upload the exhaust when I get it sorted out. I was just thrilled that the clutch worked well and it went through the gears.

The hanging rpm could be an air leak...maybe around the carb boots
