Well i think its about time to adjust my valves on my xs400 its not rattling or anything but yamaha said it be a good thing to do at about 15k miles is this true an if so how hard is it to do it yourself?

what year xs400? Not hard regardless...just read the service manual, a couple of times if necessary, and go for it. Might as well tune her up too? Everything seems hard when you have never done it before. Basic mechanical skills are all you need.Might as well start somewhere right? Dont mess it up dude! hehehe
